How does the spiral welded pipe need to be anti-corrosion? This is also a very important part of the application of spiral steel pipes in daily projects. Extending the daily life of the spiral steel pipe is also the most important focus of the customer for the project. The following is the anti-corrosion method of some spiral steel pipes

1. Mainly use tools such as wire brushes to grind the surface of the steel. The cleaning and preheating of the spiral welded pipe can remove the loose or raised oxide scale, rust, welding slag, etc. The rust removal of manual tools can reach Sa2 level, and the rust removal of power tools can reach Sa3 level. If the steel surface has adhered to a firm scale of iron oxide, the rust removal effect of the tools is not ideal, and the anchor pattern depth required for anti-corrosion construction cannot be achieved.

2. Pickling uses solvents and emulsions to clean the surface of welded steel pipes (welded pipes) for low-pressure fluid transportation to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants, and similar organic substances, but it cannot remove rust, oxide skin, welding flux on the surface of the steel, etc., so it is only used as an auxiliary means in anti-corrosion production.

3. Generally, two methods of chemical and electrolysis are used for pickling treatment. Pipeline anti-corrosion only uses chemical pickling, which can remove oxide scale, rust, and old coating. Sometimes it can be used as reprocessing after sandblasting and rust removal. Although chemical cleaning can make the surface clean and rough, its anchor pattern is shallow, and it is easy to cause pollution to the spiral welded pipe stacking environment.
